About Us
Fluent Woof is owned by Jenny Elliott DipCABT who is a professionally qualified Companion Animal Behaviour Therapist and Affiliate Member of the COAPE Association of Pet Behaviourists and Trainers (CAPBT). Having obtained a Think Dog! Intermediate Award in Canine Behaviour and Training (a course written by the late John Fisher, the highly respected canine behaviour and training specialist), Jenny went on to obtain a Diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour and Training from the Centre of Applied Pet Ethology (COAPE).
Jenny was fortunate to have been tutored by four internationally renowned specialists in pet behaviour therapy, namely Professor Peter Neville DHC Bsc(Hons), Val Strong Msc, Sarah Whitehead Msc BA(Hons) and Robert Falconer-Taylor BVetMed DipCABT MRCVS.
After a lifetime of living with various animals from hamsters to horses, Jenny became a professional pet sitter and dog walker in 2003 and quickly became known for her advice on how to deal with some of her clients' behaviour (doggie clients, not human!). Having qualified as a Behaviour Therapist in 2007, Jenny now runs Fluent Woof and concentrates on improving the relationship between dog and owner. She shares her life with two springer spaniels Bramble and Ty (and a husband and little boy too!).
