- Aggression?
- Separation Anxiety?
- Fears and Phobias?
- Destructive behaviour?
- Or just plain odd, unexplained behaviour?
For any behaviour that is not a general training issue, a Behaviour Consultation may be arranged. If you are unsure whether your dog requires behavioural therapy rather than general training, please feel free to contact us to discuss your concerns and we can advise the best course of action.
Consultations take place in your own home and the initial appointment will include a behavioural assessment of the dog, this helps us to determine the reasons behind the behaviour and to then develop an individual programme to aid and improve your dog's behaviour.
Once the intital consultation has taken place, a follow-up appointment will be arranged (normally two weeks later) so that we can see the progress that has been made and make any necessary adjustments to the programme. Further follow-ups will then be arranged if necessary.
In order to rule out any underlying medical conditions which may be causing or worsening the behaviour, we ask that you request your vet to fill out a Fluent Woof Referral Form and forward it to us. Referral forms are available from us on request, or we are happy to contact your vet for you to arrange this.
Telephone support is always available from the initial consultation onwards for as long as it is required and is provided free of charge.
